Hihglight of the 99/00 season: Harper has played 17 games
in the Newcastle goal last season, a fact he should be proud of, because
by doing that he has "beaten" the number 1 goalie Shay Given, with only
14 appereances. But, a fact that should be mentioned is that Shay is
still the number 1 and Harper's success took place, partly because of
the injury of Shay Given.
Predictions: Lately, Dutch reserve John Karelse has become the second
GK at the club, starting on the bench in the last few games in September.
Steve has been moved down to 3rd(!). Therefore, it is certainly not out
of the question that Steve might leave soon, but my opinion is that he
will hang on and win back the sub. goalkeeper position.
